Tre anni fa ho assistito per la prima volta in vita mia ad un concerto degli U2.
Concerto sudato in tutti i sensi…partendo dalla ricerca dei biglietti fino al sudore vero per la realizzazione del progetto HI BOB (in onore di Bob Hewson, padre di Bono a cui egli ha dedicato la canzone “Sometimes You Can’t Make It On Your Own” nell’album “How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb“) a cui ho preso parte insieme ad altri ragazzi di U2Place.com
Ad essere onesti è proprio questo il ricordo più grande di quel giorno, un progetto davvero importante soprattutto per le dimensioni. Nervosismo, fatica fisica ed anche rabbia sono stati premiati da un grande risultato…che ha toccato il cuore di tutti, da chi ha partecipato attivamente a chi ha assistito dalle tribune e dal prato al realizzazione del progetto…ed ha toccato soprattutto il cuore di Bono. La coreografia è stata filmata ed è parte integrante del DVD ufficiale del Vertigo Tour.
Grazie ancora a Sbruty, la mente che ha partorito questa assurda idea che è diventata realtà.

Three years ago I was for the first time in my life at U2 concert in Milan (20th July 2005).
I remember the lots of problem searching the tickets for the concert and at first I remember the big project ‘HI BOB’ by U2Place.com’s members (choreography dedicated to Bob Hewson, Bono’s father. Bono wrote the song “Sometimes You Can’t Make It On Your Own” in memory of his father).
To be honest this is the most beatiful memory of that day, a very important and big project. Nervosism, fatigue, and anger were repaid by a big result which touched the heart of all the people and Bono’s heart at first. The HI BOB choreography has been recorded and it is in the official U2’s Vertigo Tour DVD.
Thanks to Sbruty, the ‘big’ man who had this absourd idea which became reality.
